Rashaun Roberts is the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH)’s Associate Director for Diversity and Inclusion and Director of the Institute’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Office established in 2021. Prior to assuming these roles in 2019 and 2021 respectively, Dr. Roberts was a researcher and scientific leader in NIOSH’s Division of Applied Research and Technology from 2002 to 2018.   She led, supported, collaborated on, and provided oversight to research and dissemination projects covering a wide variety of content areas- including but not limited to workplace discrimination, minority health/health disparities, aging, and women’s health.
